Daphne Dovermann

Daphne started her career on the operating side with Rocket Internet where she helped to launch an e-commerce marketplace in South-East Asia. Driven by her desire to support companies reach their full potential, she then moved on to strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners, advising companies on key growth initiatives.

Daphne then joined the investment world where she worked for two of Europe’s leading private equity funds. As a private equity professional, she gathered both deal and board level experience across a range of industries from large, asset-heavy businesses such as agriculture and renewables through to multi-site retail and best-in-class consumer brands.

Most recently, Daphne was a Principal at London-based venture capital firm Atomico where she invested in purpose-driven founders building high growth technology companies. She particularly enjoyed collaborating with entrepreneurs looking to solve legacy real-world problems with technology and was a trusted partner & advisor to the founders of several businesses backed by Atomico.

Daphne graduated with distinction from the London School of Economics, earning a master’s degree in finance & private equity. She also holds a BSc in International Business from Maastricht University.
